We are a growing holiday letting business. The business started by accident when the owners of Canis found Dog Cottage in Little Barningham, fell in love with it, and spent every weekend, over a very cold winter, renovating it!
We love sharing and encouraging people to come to our beloved Norfolk! Its great!

Little Barningham is a small village in the Norfolk countryside about 19 miles from the City of Norwich and 6 miles from the beautiful town of Holt. 10 miles to the nearest beach (Weybourne). The nearest railway station is Sheringham and Norwich has an international airport and large train station.
Dog Cottage was once the village pub ‘The Dog’. It is now a beautifully restored small cottage that is detached and comes with a pretty secure garden. The cottage sits within the Mannington Estate. It is a beautiful retreat surrounded by working farms. Well behaved dogs welcome and the garden is secure. The cottage has received 5* reviews by previous guests. There is a pub, shop and a really good restaurant (Walpole Arms) in the next village.

A Grade II listed property slap bang in the middle of the beautiful town of Holt. Holt is home to Greshams; a prestigious public school dating from 1555. Holt has beautiful lanes and elegant court yards running off the high street with an array of independent shops. Holt has interesting clothes shops, cafes, restaurants and restaurants.
Holt is well located for exploring the stunning and beautiful North Norfolk coast.
A short distance from the town is the Holt Country Park which is just a short walk away. The park is beautiful tranquil woodland and ideal for a walk. The park has achieved a green flag award every year since 2005.
Holt has many festivals throughout the year including the summer arts festival and the beautiful Christmas lights.
